Thompson Tree & Crane Services

Founded in 2000, Thompson Tree & Crane Services specializes in hazardous and hard-to-reach tree removals across Ithaca and Tompkins County. Crane support, technical climbing and rigging are used for removals in tight or challenging locations, including backyard trees. The company also offers stump grinding, structural pruning, cabling and bracing. Storm cleanup includes urgent response, and land clearing is available. Its tree health work covers soil testing, soil restoration, deep root feeding and treatments for spongy moth and emerald ash borer. Tree planting and consultations add options for customers planning longer-term care. A 12-ton knuckleboom crane is available for hire as well as crane-assisted tree work. Thompson identifies its team as certified arborists, claims full insurance coverage and offers free estimates. It has a rating of 5 from 43 Google reviews, all five stars.
